I moved both of my parents to Monarch in December of 2019, three days before Christmas. Not only did the entire staff go out of their way to welcome them, they even made sure to include them in all the holiday festivities with presents and all! It was the best start we all could have hoped for! And their time at Monarch since then has been wonderful. Everyone is caring, kind, and compassionate. The staff took their time to know them and tries to make sure this feels like home. Throughout the pandemic and the Covid-19 restrictions everyone has gone above and beyond to try to make my parents and myself as comfortable as possible - I get email, text, and call updates and recently have been able to have two socially distanced visits! Having my parents live at Monarch has been a blessing to me because I know how well they are cared for. Thankful is an understatement. ❤️
Thank you for such wonderful care! This was the second time I have been a patient at this facility. Both times the staff has been genuine in caring for my physical and emotional needs. The therapists were all very caring and considerate of my needs too. They did an outstanding job during my recovery.
The food is delicious, even my husband agrees with me. It really is as good as going out to eat. The staff are all so friendly here too and I wouldn’t change the therapy staff for the world! They are great. I’m very proud of everyone here!
Social, social, social. I love being able to always visit with the other residents. Our Activity Director always greets us with a smile and coffee and it just starts your day off amazing. There is something for everyone at Monarch!
The staff there is absolutely great! I have my own place in Marysville but I have often thought about coming back to live at Monarch instead. I enjoying going to therapy so much and the therapy staff is wonderful. They helped me return to my home by myself, and for that I am grateful!
I received the BEST care while at Monarch. My shakes are gone, I can breathe better and I am walking again! I am able to do everything I wished I could do prior to my stay at Monarch. It’s a great place to visit and the food will make you want to stay forever. I am so excited to say that the therapy team helped me build my endurance back up and I think I will be able to start baking again! Thank you Monarch!
I have COPD and use oxygen. I am very happy that all of the activities are accommodating to me and I can still go and participate. The daily games are soo much fun. The Activity Director makes it extra special for all of us!

I enjoy our activities so much, especially Bingo. I always look forward to activities and we have so many. I’m looking forward to seeing what new activities we are going to have in the future. Last week we went to the zoo and it was the best trip. Great to be outside and enjoy the summer air!
I received the BEST rehabilitation care I have every received while at Monarch. I truly believe if I didn’t come to Monarch I would not be home with my family now, doing as well as I am today. Between the Monarch staff and the beautiful, private rooms, I felt right at home at Monarch.
We do a lot at Monarch and so many of us get involved. Our Activity Director gets the residents out of the building and really thinks about each resident individually. We have started making blankets for foster kids and I couldn’t think of anything better to do. I can’t say enough good things about our Activity Director. She always has a smile and is always there to listen. Every single person here at Monarch does a great job. This is a small nursing home with a family feel where everyone helps everyone!
I have lived at this facility for a combination of five years and I have been through a lot of changes. However, this is the best change yet! It’s beautiful, the staff is accommodating and it’s easy to get around. I am so proud of the facility and that I get to call it home, when I have visitors! I love showing it off to everyone and I cannot say thank you enough to the owner for making it so perfect!
The menu that Monarch brings to us, thanks to Chef Tim and Chef Holly, is delicious! The apple pie and ham loaf are the best things I have ever eaten. Not to mention the marinara sauce used on the spaghetti and meatball subs is to die for and the stuffed green peppers and cabbage rolls are delightful. There are so many culinary delights; it’s hard to pick just one choice to eat each day.
This was my first stay in a rehabilitation facility and I have nothing but good things to say about my time at Monarch. Everyone was so wonderful, from the Director of Nursing, to my therapists and all of the nursing staff and aides. Than you Monarch.
I truly appreciate the Monarch Staff. They are friendly, respectful and professional. This includes aides, nurses, PT partners and management. The rooms are cozy and even the food was good! Thanks Monarch for helping me to get healthy enough to go home.
